String instrument repairer in residence at Prairie Cello Institute 2019

Well-known Luthier Natanael Sasaki will be setting up his workshop in Regina as resident luthier to the 2019 Prairie Cello Institute. Natanael will be offering instrument and bow repairs, bow rehairs and advice on how to look after our instruments. Famous for his work on the Bullet Cello, Natanael studied violin at the Sibelius Academy in his native Finland and violinmaking at the Newark School of Violin Making in the UK. He now makes his home in Calgary where he runs his own workshop.
